The
Tannum Sands P & C began school banking in term 4, 2010 offering
'Dollarmite' accounts in partnership with the Commonwealth Bank. We believe
that it is a valuable teaching tool in developing saving habits and enabling
students to gain knowledge and confidence in handling money.
It has proven to be very successful, with a large
number of students taking up this opportunity. The collection of bank books and
money by class teachers takes place every Wednesday.
